  • Under general supervision establish the functions required for the successful implementation of digital solutions to help deliver valuable innovative outcomes.
  • Possess an unwavering passion for digital technology and innovation and understanding of the latest digital trends, tools, and capabilities.
  • The successful candidate must be a thought leader and problem solver who can blend business, technical and industry best practices to deliver best-in-class digital experiences to the organization.
  • This position is responsible for assimilating information from a variety of sources and supporting a strategy of delivering engaging and meaningful digital experiences that produce real value to the organization.
  • This position requires critical thinking skills and works collaboratively with users, vendors, IT partners and other stakeholders to proactively identify, communicate, and implement strategic frameworks and systems to improve digital experiences and delivery.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary resource on best practices for digital customer solutions.
  • Keep current on emerging digital technologies, digital adoption, and engagement trends.
  • Uses knowledge of current technologies to help inform corporate digital roadmap.
  • Understand the use and practicality of new and emerging consumer digital technologies and functionalities, for example, IoT devices, to introduce new and relevant ideas and capabilities. Be influential and collaborative in finding optimal solutions and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and perform audits of key functions to ensure data and process integrity; initiate resolution of identified issues and monitors measures to ensure improvements are maintained.
  • Provide operational support and oversight of analysis and design of digital processes.
  • Support operations management and improvement activities including design, implementation of improved operations and assessment of change.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors and partners to maximize the use of cloud technology including identifying opportunities for innovation, security enhancements and integration within the cloud environment.
  • Consult, collaborate with, and advise users on the application and interpretation of data to develop structured data requirements for reporting and data entry.
  • Identify new data reporting needs for various applications and work with users to determine business implications; develop reports.
  • Work with stakeholders i.e. users, IT staff, and vendors to identify business needs and effectively translate them to actionable requirements.
  • Create data models consistent with the business requirements.
  • Participate in evaluation of strategic opportunities to maximize the utility of applications and to allow for continuous adaptation of the program to meet ongoing needs.
  • Develop and update technical and user documentation.
  • Identify, implement and enhance collaboration and communication solutions using the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum of five to seven years of relative experience; 10+ years are preferred.
  • Must possess a strong technical and business knowledge as typically obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree or experience in related fields.
  • Knowledge in modern web architectures and development as well as mobile development workflows.
  • Demonstrated critical and creative thinker as evidenced by a portfolio of high-value digital projects, products, and solutions.
  • Must have a successful track record of successfully leading change with positive outcomes.
  • Must have proven experience delivering operational, technical, and business solutions and experience with process improvement and managing the organizational impact.
  • Must also possess strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external contacts and stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve data input, storage and/or retrieval problems and to work with IT systems team or vendor(s) to design solutions and modifications.
  • Ability to provide a range of training and/or support activities for users.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop and manipulate complex data sets and to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain and analyze data.
  • Ability to act independently and provide leadership at an advanced level of technical expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of users.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in financial industry and/or banking, investments & private equity
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON and/or Python, as well as Investment & Portfolio Management tools, and data reporting and data analytics tools: SQL, Tableau, etc.
  • Additional related education and/or certification preferred.
