Lead Engineer, ExchangeMoorestown, NJSummaryThe Senior Microsoft Exchange Systems Engineer will diagnose and resolve complex live system problems and provide critical system architecture support. The individual will be responsible to adhering to industry and organizational security compliance standards and best practices (such as PCI DSS). What you'll do:The Senior Exchange Systems Engineer will utilize experience to specify, design, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy IT system solutions related to Exchange (Exchange 2016/2019)The individual will be responsible for working with our system administrators and management staff on day-to-day operations and new project implementations.Strong Enterprise Exchange Architecture knowledge (DAG Databases, Replication, Backup & Restore, Free/Busy, Address Book Policies, Mail Flow, Exchange Certificate procedures)Position requires prior Exchange mailbox migration experience, scheduling migration batches and process management.Design and configure the Exchange infrastructure to maintain a stable, secure and highly available Exchange email environment through close monitoring and careful maintenance to minimize downtime and outages.Maintain a stable, secure and highly available Microsoft Outlook client environment through configuration, maintenance, and technical support.The individual will also periodically perform auditing and testing of infrastructure to ensure the security/functionality of our network components.Analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develops and implements strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.About you:High school diploma or equivalent with prior related work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.10+ years’ system engineering experience.5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Exchange server administration (Experience in Exchange Server Design, implementation, daily operations, upgrading and migrations.Strong Enterprise Exchange Architecture knowledge (DAG Databases, replication, Backup & Restore, Free/Busy, Address Book Policies, Mail Flow, Exchange Certificate procedures)Thorough understanding of network protocolsExperience with design, implementation and maintenance of VMware ESX version 6.5+.Familiarity with network authentication protocols and tools such as LDAP and Kerberos.Develops, recommends and executes changes to complex systems.Typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives.Solves complex technical and operational problems.Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience. May have people management responsibilities for a small team.Effective communications and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of audit standards and best practices.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Must be able to pass a background and credit checks.Payment processing or other financial services experience preferredVacancy expired!
