RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior/Principal Analog Electrical Engineer in Carlsbad, CA.Summary:The Senior/Principal Analog Electrical Engineer (medical device) will perform the design, development and integration of complex medical system with adherence to electrical performance, safety, and EMC standards. You Are: Someone who is dutiful and driven to help others Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm A cultivator of innovation who creates and fosters new ways for the organization to be successful Someone with a proven ability to maneuver through ambiguity and build from the ground up Someone who embraces change and can pivot quickly when priorities change Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals Resourceful, securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently You Will: Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials through understanding of datasheets, schematics and embedded code Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting analysis Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties; simulation; quick prototype; and debug of electrical circuits and firmware Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or higher 7+ years of experience working in electrical engineering with a focus on analog and mixed signal Experience with electronics design tools such as schematic capture (Altium, Orcad) Experience with IEC 60601 through approvals and familiarity with design to handle defibrillation Experience bringing up a medical system through regulatory testing and into clinical use Experience working with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet and other interface protocols Familiar with PLL, DDS, ADC, DAC, power supply design and monitoring Low noise a plus Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) SoCs and DSP filters Nice to Have: Strong knowledge of the electrophysiology space Experience working in a startup environmentKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
