Job Details
  • Create high-quality software in a timely manner for battery chargers and automotive accessories.
  • Develop Software in C in an embedded control system environment using a variety of 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers
  • Software development using Integrated Development Environments such as IAR Embedded Workbench, ST Visual Developer, MPLABX
  • Maintain accurate records by documenting software development while following published software guidelines
  • Conduct and participate in peer design reviews for software verification and validation
  • Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate new and existing consumer battery charging products
  • Perform development and/or test work that requires a comprehensive knowledge of battery charging technology
  • Compile and evaluate the design and test data, prepare and review technical specifications, analyze technical data to determine appropriate limits and variables for product specification
-Supply comprehensive descriptive manual documentation representing product understanding for the current software release at a draft level to a technical writer for the product manual
  • Analyze, develop and recommend design approaches required to meet production requirements for new or improved products
What You Need for this Position:
  • 3+ years of embedded software engineering
  • C/C
  • Controllers/Microcontrollers
  • SPI, I2C, UART, ADC's, and PWM
  • Oscilloscope
