Must be proficient with agile methodologies with the ability to blend in Waterfall practices when encountered. This is a hands-on role that is also a key contributor to helping the broader program evolve in their agile maturity. They are proficient in leveraging common industry tools, best practices, and have a continuous improvement mindset.In this role, you can expect to:• Execute as a Scrum Master and provide agile leadership to the DEAL team.• Maintain and grow an environment that enables teams to embrace agile values, enact agile practices, continually assess and abide by agreements.• Play a leading contributing role in our continued growth in agility• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.• Lead and continuously refine agile ceremonies.• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.• Integrate agile practices within our internal project delivery processes, and implementations.• Be committed to meet/exceed the needs of our clients.• Provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.• Use data to assess progress, areas needing improvement, increase predictability.• Facilitate and manage scrum/project communications to stakeholders, the broader project team, and program leaders.• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills; will be forward thinking, self-motivated, and able join a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.This position will be exposed to the latest technology, and training opportunities will be present across a wide range of disciplines. Growth opportunities for the position are expected, as the enterprise scales to meet the demands of transforming our technology.Basic skills and qualifications for consideration:• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field of study is required, and other hands-on experience will be considered.• Minimum: 8+ years of SDLC experience as either a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or other contributing role.• Minimum: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master• 5+ years’ experience in Technical Project Management• Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.• Basic knowledge of software development processes and proceduresPreferred Qualifications for Consideration:• Execute on Scrum Master that include organizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum/Kanban-related meetings• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Clarity, Azure DevOps and Atlassian Suite• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills• Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction• Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection• Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans• Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, providing options and recommendations relating to resolving issues, mitigating risks, and resolving escalated items.
