RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Carlsbad, CA that is seeking a Remote Senior Principal WPF C# Software Engineer.Do you want a job where: 40 hours a week is the norm while working remote, not the exception Gives you more time for family and hobbies Is a 100% remote, including after the pandemic is over; There will be occasional travel to Carlsbad, CA for design meetings a few times a year Works on a well-established product that saves livesSummary:The Remote Sr. Principal WPF C# Software Engineer is responsible for participating in and contributing to the architecture, design and development of the system software and algorithms of an electro-anatomical mapping system. They are responsible for company-wide software activities, including project scheduling, regulatory documentation, and design reviews.Responsibilities: Sr. Principal WPF C# Software Engineer develops application software with C#/WPF using Microsoft Visual-Studio Develops real-time, unmanaged, C-based software using Microsoft Visual-Studio Collaborates with internal experts and translates MATLAB-based algorithms and functions into optimized C code Participates in research, design, development of various algorithms to solve real clinical problems Sr. Principal WPF C# Software Engineer works in small teams with experts of different fields (electrical engineers, scientist, clinical experts, etc.) Leads small teams when needed and may mentor junior-level engineers as needed Participates in development lifecycle (research, development, documentation, validation, release management) Responsible for compliance with quality system procedures and all regulatory requirements Consistently promote collaboration, positivity, accountability and resourcefulness Must demonstrate mutual respect, ongoing communication, and a positive outlook with both internal team members and customersREQUIREMENTS: Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience and a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, and/or PhD in a scientific/engineering discipline; Or equivalent combination of education and experience At least 8 years of experience in Microsoft C development coupled with at least 8 years of C#/WPF development Must be proficient in unmanaged C via Visual Studio 2010 (or later) Experience with one or more helper libraries such as MFC, STL, or Eigen libraries Strong background in multi-threading Experience with techniques for fast code execution speed including SIMD/AVX, parallelization, CUDA, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills, thoroughness, attention to detail Background in mathematics a plus, particularly linear algebra Demonstrates advanced technical expertise and implementing innovative solutions; Regularly collaborates with others and provides independent thought and strategy for large scope solutions; Proactively contributes to and possesses a high level of understanding of product requirements, industry needs, regulatory filings and patent applications; Anticipates potential complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation; Has a reputation as an emerging technical expert and mentor with sustained performance and accomplishment Must be able to understand job duties and responsibilities, have the necessary skills/knowledge and be willing and able to continue learning and growing within the field Must be skilled at managing a significant workload and obtaining positive results, taking on additional responsibility and managing priorities as neededKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
