- A hands-on IT operations person to oversee a team of 2 IT support professionals.
- Responsible for managing, and improving the company infrastructure towards 24/7 availability, addressing disaster recovery and business continuity with special focus on IT security, process improvement and change control.
- Management of Data Centers, Cloud Operations, and 3rd party support teams.
- Build capacity, capability, scalability, resilience, and reproducibility across the teams.
- Implement, manage, and monitor IT infrastructure as compliant with security standards.
- Maintain business continuity plans and institutionalize best support practices.
- Ensure that all business operations needs are monitored and fulfilled in time for business/department needs through alignment of service levels to focused business outcomes, milestones, and deliverables.
- Investigates operational requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, abstract up information to a general understanding, and works with customers to uncover unmet business needs.
- Monitor all critical production processes and technologies that have high visibility and impact on business operations.
- Evaluate, monitor, and align operational performance against KPIs and business goals.
- Provide IT support, as needed for a company with over 1,000 users.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years IS operation experience.
- Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous high-priority, business-critical projects; strong project management skills.
- Proven experience in managing all aspects of IT operations, system maintenance and operational availability experience, vendor relationship, and help desk support.
