RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking a Tier I Support in Tampa, FL.Responsibilities of the Tier I Support: The Tier I Support opens tickets with carriers for repairs; MACD orders/disconnects Works with Internet/Telecom Third Party Expense Team for data/voice billing discrepancies, where services are at times disconnected for non-payment or the site has been charged overages The Tier I Support escalates to Tier II internal team for issues requiring a Tier II Analyst or EngineerREQUIREMENTS: Needs to be Network + Certified or above, CCNA a plus The Tier 1 Support needs previous Telecom/Helpdesk wanting to break into an Operations role with an understanding of how a Network Operations role works Understand different types of modems, ISP circuit types, broadband, DIA, etc. Basic knowledge of POTS, PRIs, and SIP circuits Experience with ITSM Ticketing System Excellent Communication skills Ability to document procedures, fixes, and communicate to the rest of the team Able to perform caller ID changes, voicemail provisioning, agent builds Proficient with basic network troubleshooting skills, such as ping and traceroute Ability to follow-up, understand process of Third Party Aggregators of circuits and what role they play within network/telecom fulfillment Understands the ticket process, monitoring, and ongoing incident management follow-ups within the teamKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
