Catering Assistant | Barista

Job Description

We are looking for candidates willing to help during our coffee and tea catering events all over Chicagoland.

• helping with setting up for events
• preparing beverages and serving clients during events
• restocking condiments, keeping the serving area clean and tidy
• assisting with the tear-down after events

The candidate will have an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills of specialty coffee and tea as well as equipment and customer service abilities.

Most likely, you would start in the role of a Catering Assistant, with the possibility of moving into the role of a Barista and Catering Manager.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will:

• have very good command of English
• have high EQ and very good communication skills
• have the ability to make clients feel at home and welcome
• be eager to learn new skills in the area of coffee and tea
• pay attention to detail
• be punctual and reliable
• be comfortable with a fast-paced situations
• be very responsive in communicating

Coffee and tea knowledge and experience is not required.
