She is not fully ambulatory and needs assistant standing from chair or bed to then be wheeled around in chair. My father is 90 but happily attends to his own needs. My sister is intellectually challenged but also takes care of her own personal needs and is self-functioning. We are looking for someone to prepare healthy meals, support my mother with all needs and maintain the house. The house has an indoor/outdoor friendly cat. There is a room for the caregiver to take breaks as needed. The current caregiver and I are available to train and support understanding what is needed. The shifts needed are variable and at this time we are able to tailor to applicant’s needs. 7:30 or 8:00 AM is an appropriate start time and end times for shifts can vary but 6PM after dinner is an appropriate end of final shift. We are open to discussing shift options such as short 2 to 3 hours shifts, split shifts, or longer shifts. Weekdays and every other weekend shifts available Again it is open for creating shifts that will work for 1 or multiple caregivers. This is not a live-in situation and there are not a 24 hour shifts available, if applicable the longest shift would be 10 hours. We will hire the person or persons who are sensitive to the needs of elderly individuals, kind and willing to engage in getting to know the family, able to cook healthy meals and capable of managing the day to day needs of housekeeping. My mother is not comfortable with male caregivers (sorry) females only. Please reply by craigslist or you may call 928-300-9683.
