To this end, we are looking for a Program Manager to drive high priority customer initiatives in the cloud. This is customer facing role that is accountable for the end-to-end customer contracting experience.The Contract Pro gram M anager enables both Microsoft and Customer outcomes through orchestration across multiple teams in support of State and Local Government customers. Ideally, the person that steps into this role is a leader who can lead in ambiguity, set direction, and bring clarity. This individual models Microsoft's values around diversity and inclusion, One Microsoft, and wants to make a difference.ResponsibilitiesProvide contract obligation management for strategic State and Local Governmentcontracts by monitoring, tracking, and overseeing large and custom contracts, including regular cadence of reports to customer, identify risks and associated mitigations, resolution of issues, ensure compliance with Microsoft policies, procedures as well as government and contract requirements.

Develop processes to ensure Microsoft continues to meet contractual obligations and provide insights to the business to help shape and operationalize future commitments while upholding company standards.

Serve as primary point of contact to field to help ensure regular rhythm is maintained to provide reporting and review status with appropriate points of contact at the customer.

Analyze contractual risk to the business and assisting senior management in assessing risk exposure for the company.

Be a strong team player, assist the overall organization and your peers to achieve success.

Partner with Regulatory Compliance Manager to monitor and evaluate overall business risks

Build relationships, both with the customer and within the Microsoft community.

Support internal / external audit activities.

Conduct special projects as assigned.

Qualifications5+ years of experience successfully managing contracts and related documents at a large-scale corporation, government entity or similar experience.

Direct experience supporting large IT contracts and proposals under multiple contract types

Expert contract, project, and time management skills. Action oriented with a passion for getting things done quickly and efficiently.

Experience influencingmanagement and leadership through delivering excellent verbal and written communications.

Proven experience collaborating across all multiple business groups including, Business Leadership, Relevant core functions (e.g., Sales, Services, Marketing), as appropriate, Controls & Compliance, CELA, Finance, Human Resources, Office of Legal Compliance, and Internal Audit.

Strong relationship management skills including creating, directing, participating, supporting, and/or coordinating virtual teams to achieve objectives.

Ability to document and improve work processes to make workflow more efficient and productive.

Ability to creatively solve problems and identify solutions.

Bachelor'sDegree or equivalent experience

LocationRole can be based anywhere in the US – preferably close to a major metropolitan area or airport
