Commercial Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

We are now hiring PROJECT ENGINEERS/ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGERS to become a part of our team! We are expanding our operations and are looking for for highly motivated people willing to learn the trade, work hard and grow with our company.

We are a commercial hollow metal door distributor and installation company working primarily in the Southern California market. We work with the best commercial contractors, architects and material manufacturer's to provide hollow metal doors & frames, wood doors and finish hardware. We are currently looking to fill various Project Engineering positions and are willing to train!

We are looking to fill immediate, full-time installation positions.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

Assisting project managers to successfully meet the demands of various commercial projects.

Working as part of teams of office staff and field crews

Reporting on daily progress

Create and manage meeting agenda and minutes

Manage project schedules and project specific deadlines

Assist in the procurement of material

Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person

Manage project documents

Organize and track electronic project folders

Assist in warehouse responsibilities including off-loading deliveries, staging material and inventory

Work with software applications like Outlook, Access, Work, Power Point and Others

LEED Documentation management

We are looking for people with the following Qualifications:

Ability to use email and text as well as learn other apps and software;

Ability to multi-task and learn time management skills;

Ability to communicate clearly, positively and concisely in writing and in person;

Ability to work well in teams;

Ability to prioritize;

Compensation will be commensurate with your experience in the industry as wells as your personal experience, education and abilities.
