Small Medical Billing Company, working from home

We are looking for an individual who is positive and warm and that can handle making calls to insurance carriers and making sure that all claims get paid. Also calling patients to collect money making sure they pay their balances. Working on collections, claims status appeals and sending out claims using officeally clearing house.

2 years experience is necessary in medical billing.

Duties include:

Calling patients, Medicare, HMO and private insurance companies, correspondence and follow up calls

Must be able to effectively communicate with insurance companies, patients and family members.

Assist on other projects and duties as assigned.

If you are Bilingual, that would be a plus English/Spanish, but not necessary

Maintain patient privacy and follow all HIPAA laws

Responsible, friendly, flexible, motivated and positive attitude

Have ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion

Willingness to learn

Able to work with minimum supervision

Great phone voice and customer service

2 years of Medical Billing experience is required.

Billing, collections, claim status and appeals, posting charges and adjustments.

Work hours are: Monday thru Friday 9-5pm or part time from 10pm – 3pm
