Title: Program Manager III Location: Menlo Park, CA Duration: 06 MonthsJob Title: Project/Program Management - Program Manager IIIJob Description:Summary:The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.Job Responsibilities:•Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.•Coordinate with stakeholders (Engineering, Legal, and Policy) to complete privacy assessments and technical safeguards.•Connect with internal customers, gather requirements of privacy and security gaps in their payment systems and document findings.•Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.•Drive adoption of privacy and security platform components with customers teams •Prioritize requirements and write specifications and proposals to build new privacy aware systemsSkills:•5+ years' experience within a Technical Project Management role. Preferably with a background in privacy, compliance and Large-Scale systems.•Experience in collaborating with engineering partners to ship software and systems on time.•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and see through to completion in a timely manner•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal•Prior experience working with technical engineering/development teams•Ability to work cross-functionally•Prior experience communicating with business stakeholders on a regular basis•Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment•Knowledge of payment services is a plus but not requiredSkills:•Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.•Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.•Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.•Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.•Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.•Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.Education/Experience:•Bachelor''s degree in business administration or a related field.•PMI or PMP certification preferred.
