Our focus in a growth IT segment with a unique mobility solution positions us well for rapid expansion.Interloc seeks an experienced financial controller to manage the established financial systems in place to support management in growing the business and manage expansion. The candidate needs to have a hands-on approach to manage daily finances, manage treasury functions, provide regular reports and establish areas for improvement and efficiency to support growth.The Controller position will work onsite at our Folsom office 3 days a week, 2 days remote. Specific job functions include:• Prepare monthly consolidated statements; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions• Attendance at regular management meetings; advising management on required actions• Provide financial support and analysis to support growth initiatives• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and maintain banking relationships• Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data• Prepare special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts• Analyze and evaluate opportunities to improve and support operational and financial functions• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction• Provide financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendationsSkills Requirement• Experience in managing a financial department and personnel• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures• Experience using financial software• Advanced MS Excel skills• Knowledge of financial regulations• Excellent analytical and numerical skills• Sharp time management skills• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics• Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus• Experience working in the software and services sector is considered a plus
