Kelly OCG is looking for a level 3 Validation Technician to join their team for a top semiconductor company in Folsom, California. L3 Technician Folsom, CA Long-term ongoing project Pay: $26/hr + benefits & PTO Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of server, pc builds, hardware installation and rack equipment setup.
  • Strong understanding of SSD storage firmware and SSD hardware.
  • Experience with firmware, BIOS, drivers and OS software functions, uses and installation.
  • Knowledge and ability to write/modify python/java or other scripting languages a plus.
  • Work with BASH for Linux or other shell scripting a plus.
  • Previous experience working with RHEL Linux/DOS and CLI.
  • Experience with tools to load OS image, launch tests, and report test results.
  • Experience in server or client storage arrays a plus (RAID, SAN, NAS).
  • understanding of NVMe/PCIe and SATA, SAS, SCSI interface protocols.
  • Strong understanding of PC networking (DHCP, TCP-IP, routers/switches).
  • Very strong PC troubleshooting and debug skills (BSOD, HW, software, BIOS, Network issues).
  • Ability to read and follow written test procedures and research independently with no supervision.
  • Know how to navigate windows and Linux file systems and naming structures.
  • Execute pre-existing tests per a defined test plan using procedural documentation.
  • Ability to quickly confirm repeatability/reproducibility of test failure and hand off of test data.
  • File bug sightings accurately with exquisite attention to detail.
  • Solid ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Ability to become a technical leader quickly.
