We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager - Charging. This position requires a highly experienced professional Program Manager with a proven track record of excellence and managerial achievement. The candidate demonstrates strong organizational capability and the ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate. The ideal candidate will communicate proactively, so each individual team member remains aware of the timing and delivery expectations placed upon them and that critical issues are identified and brought to the attention of senior management in a timely manner. The Role

  • The successful candidate is a fearless leader of large cross-functional teams with the ability to structure complex programs, drive execution on schedule, and responsible for clear communication of status and issues at all levels.
  • Lead and manage Lucid charging feature development and validation to deliver our customers a world-class EV charging experience
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering teams, marketing, and other relevant parties to support roadmap (product, technical) definition and implementation
  • Work with software and electrical engineering teams to build, maintain and execute the integrated development plan of charging features
  • Coordinate and drive agile software development across infotainment, charging controls, battery software teams to ensure concerted, timely delivery of rich feature set
  • Define, implement, and manage the stage/gate system relevant to the cross-functional charging development process
  • Work with system integration and vehicle validation teams to define charging validation plan and execute in-field testing in coordination with the development schedule
  • Work with engineering and test teams to ensure development and validation activities are adequately resourced to succeed
  • Coordinate continuous charger interoperability testing with system integration, vehicle validation, and charging infrastructure teams
  • Communicate status and risks to executive management
The Qualifications
  • 8+ years in program management of mission-critical automotive software and electronics development
  • Experience in building and leading product development teams, specifically of multi-discipline program managers and engineers.
  • Experience in managing the development and delivery of complex customer-facing electronic systems in the automotive, consumer electronics, or aerospace industries through the entire product lifecycle
  • Experience in managing agile software development, electronic hardware development, and integration of software and hardware lifecycles
  • Experience in all relevant tools for program managing electronic systems development: schedule management, task/issue management, documentation and requirement capture, communication
  • A history of adapting and success in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Drive to create world-class products
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of EV charging standards, e.g. J1772, GB/T, ISO 15118
  • Direct experience with Jira/Confluence, SmartSheets, Jama
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (electrical engineering, computer science, or similar), master's degree preferred
