We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer, Vehicle Configuration to join our team. This position requires an experienced professional with diagnostic requirement and specification authoring experience as well as experience in automotive applications and applicable interfaces.   • Specify and implement robust mechanisms to manage vehicle configurations and onboard data.
  • Interface between Engineering, Marketing, external stakeholders to understand, implement, maintain Lucid's vehicle configuration requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement secure data access and storage related to configuration information.
  • Draft, review, and maintain requirements/specifications and test cases. Work closely with Systems engineers, Software developers and Test engineers to ensure configurable vehicle diagnostics is implemented and tested as per Lucid's standards.
  • Drive innovative solutions to Diagnostic problems.
  • Ensure complete coverage between implementation, requirements, and test cases. Evaluate gaps in systems processes and implement solutions.
  • Implement changes in diagnostic functionality informed by FMEA.
  • Report status updates on a regular basis
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Automotive experience in Diagnostics
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards: ISO 14229 (UDS), ISO 15765 (DoCAN), ISO 13400 (DoIP), ISO 22901-1 (ODX)
  • Diagnostic requirement/specification authoring experience
  • Experience in automotive applications and applicable interfaces such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet and hands-on experience in using test equipment and validation tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer.
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle configuration data.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills and able to analyze complex problems and propose solutions.
  • Solid experience in diagnostic sequences such as ECU reprogramming and how the tester exchanges data with client ECUs
  • Familiarity with ASPICE systems engineering process.
  • Bachelor of Science, in the areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security and Over-The-Air technologies is a plus.
