The MarTech Platforms Solutions Consultant lead serves as a key liaison between our B2C Marketing Teams and MarTech Platforms. This exciting role provides the candidate the opportunity to leverage strong relationship and problem-solving skills to help support our internal Marketing teams. Strong candidates will have a familiarity with B2C Marketing needs and a broad understanding of how technology can enable those needs. This role provides candidates with the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders within MarTech Platforms and our B2C Marketing divisions to help align strategic goals and ensure MarTech Platforms is focused on the highest value areas that will drive business outcomes. Past technical experience working with Marketing Technology is preferred but is not required as long as the individual can demonstrate a strong technical aptitude and a familiarity with B2C marketing objectives. While this role sits in our IT organization, it is a Corporate level and at its heart a relationship management role.   • Develop a strong ongoing partnership within MarTech and your aligned B2C business and IT partners through regular communication, consistent follow up on actions & regular alignment/realignment of priorities to ensure MarTech is delivering on highest value items.
  • Proactively identifies key opportunities for relationship improvement and utilizes network to drive action towards filling that gap in an effort to deliver a great experience for our MarTech Partners.
  • Delivers a frequent and compelling story to our divisional partners and MarTech that captures key wins and deliveries throughout the year and focuses on business value derived from new capabilities/enhancements to the roadmap.
  • Creates meaningful feedback loops and actively collects and responds to feedback to continually improve our relationship with our internal partners.
  • Leverages project management skills to support partner projects where needed as a representative for MarTech
Ideal Candidates:
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Strong communication skills required including experience communicating with senior levels in an organization.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a proven track record supporting and responding to internal partner needs.
  • Broad understanding of technologies that support Marketing capabilities and a desire to deepen technical skills. Ability to translate technical details into business terms is necessary. Direct Marketing technology experience preferred with experience in Adobe Marketing platform products a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are required.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Past experience working within Retail Marketing or CXd is preferred but is not a requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages a project or workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Ensures strategies are aligned with the overall department strategy.
  • Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
  • Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related project issues. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and function-specific experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
