Insights Analyst II Vertical Strategy Position Details: Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote during pandemic but will be 100% onsite in the near future). Type/Duration: 6 month contract (possible extension(s)) Data Analyst titles and focus on yellow highlights. Work with sales teams and researchers to give data and analytical insights. Great communication skills is a must. I am seeking someone with using SQL to extract from Large Datasets. Experience with Digital Media or Advertising is a plus. If you have this experience Skills: 2+ years relevant experience creating analyses with large scale datasets, quantitative research, and using data to formulate business insights. Expertise in data querying and manipulation in SQL and Excel; experience with Jupyter is a plus. Statistical and data analysis/modeling skills (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, etc.). Translate data into compelling, actionable narratives factoring in stakeholder input/needs and digital advertising recommendations. Strong communication skills and the ability to craft engaging and actionable insights stories for a variety of audiences using data. Ability to connect data analysis to real business problems, in order to impact business performance. Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented and delivering results in a highly organized manner. Experience in the digital space or advertising industry a plus. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. SQL, Datasets, Data Visualization and Detail-Oriented. Data Analysis experience (preferably with publishers, media agencies and marketers). Analyze 3rd party syndicate data sources similar to ComScore, a media measurement and analytics company providing marketing data and analytics to enterprises; media and advertising agencies; and publishers. Develop data workflows.
