AWS Software Engineer Duration: 6 months with high potential to extend Location: Mission Bay, San Francisco, CA- Remote but MUST be in office at least 3 days/week starting in September 2021 Compensation: Negotiable hourly pay rate on W2 ONLY TO APPLY: Please email your updated resume and availability for a phone call to Tammi at In this role, you will act as a senior software engineer of the IT Eng Platform team, responsible for developing automation tools to improve working efficiency to manage the global AWS and VMware vCenter infrastructure. What You'll Do

  • Support our AWS and other Cloud environments
  • Build-out our Cloud Management Platform self-service catalog to provide multi-cloud services for our teams
  • Help build an x-as-a-service portal for all of our services
  • Work on multiple IT Eng Platform projects, operating as the Subject Matter Expert managing the project requirements, scope, and timelines
  • Act as an escalation point for the Operations teams and other IT teams on issues relating to AWS
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation
?What You'll Need to Have
  • Solid software development knowledge in data structure, algorithm of software engineering
  • Experience in AWS, VMware vCenter API integration, support and development
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, or Gitlab, or Bamboo
  • Experience in UI development using NodeJS, ReactJS, GraphQL, REST, MongoDB
  • Experience in building cloud infrastructure using Docker container, Kubetenetes
  • Familiar with monitoring environment and its platform: Sensu, Grafana, Terraform, Prometheus,
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Javascript,
