We are currently seeking a Test Engineer, Component Integration who will plan and track supplier component integration test activities. You will partner with Design Release Engineers, Supplier Management, Test Engineers and suppliers in identifying scope, KPIs and assessing risks of timely delivery per Integration Test Plan.   • Work with Tier-1 supplier component Integration test process.
  • Plan and track supplier component integration test activities.
  • Partner with Design Release Engineers, Supplier Management, Test Engineers and suppliers in identifying scope, KPIs and assessing risks of timely delivery per Integration Test Plan.
  • Review test results and known issues with suppliers
  • Provide technical guidance and support in debugging and troubleshooting systems/ECUs and software/hardware interface issues.
  • Work with integration engineers to design and build subsystem test benches to test and validate high and low voltage systems
  • Collaborate with Functional Safety Engineers to develop test and validation criteria to satisfy Functional Safety requirements as per ISO 26262.
  • Work with Integration Test Engineers to identify, generate and implement test cases and validation criteria for a system under test.
  • Document and maintain component validation scorecards
  • Regularly report progress on test and validation activities for management review.
  • Work with the relevant engineers to meet diagnostic coverage requirements of manufacturing and service related functionality.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience in working with OEM or automotive Tier-1 suppliers
  • Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, XCP, UDS and related Vector / Intrepid network tools to measure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
  • Hands-on experience using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters etc.
  • Sound knowledge of Python/CAPL scripting language.
  • Experience working with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, dSPACE Systems, TraceTronic ECU-Test etc.
  • Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up test benches.
  • Strong knowledge of EV vehicle operation.
  • Knowledge of FMVSS and SAE standards and practices.
  • Bachelor of Science (Master of Science preferred), in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • Knowledge of UDS protocol, developing dynamic vehicle model or plant model is a plus.
  • ASTQB/ISTQB certification is a plus.
