We’re hiring a Senior AWS DevOps Architect to Lead the provision, operate, and manage distributed application systems on Amazon Web Services. State Government technical solution delivery experience highly desired. This is a 5 year engagement and the contract is already secured. - 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer for at least two (2) projects in an AWS environment using agile methodology.
- 3 years of experience serving as a Lead DevOps Engineer with delivery of IT projects that use dynamic, code driven infrastructure, including auto-scaling and container orchestration and management using AWS.
- 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer performing software development and design for online and mission critical application(s) supported 24x7.
- 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer for a large enterprise IT project(s) performing at least four (4) of the following:
- Analyzing and baselining configurable items with Linux-based systems;
- Monitoring and fine-tuning performance of Linux-based systems by reviewing performance and system logs and resolving issues;
- Modeling and baselining database configuration items;
- Network administration; and/or
- Maintaining systems logs and complying with all hardware/software license requirements.
- 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer for a large enterprise IT project(s) performing each of the following:
- Server configuration scripting;
- Configuration management;
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD); and
- Supporting continuous monitoring using industry standard tools.
- 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer for a large enterprise IT project(s) performing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of incremental changes to systems.
- 3 years of experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer for a large enterprise IT project(s) working with at least four (4) or more of the following products:
- Cognito
- PostgreSQL
- Salesforce
- Kafka
- GitHub
- Kubernetes
- Ansible
- At least a computer science, engineering, or technology-related baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of commensurate experience as a DevOps Engineer.
