For this Deskside Support role, we need a candidate with strong customer service skills to represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner. Position will be responsible for hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks, etc. Overview:
- Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions and requests for information
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
- Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches
- Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve
- 2+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A+ certification a plus
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
