- Develop aspects of complex cloud based products
- Lead the development methodology, automation and processes
- Research new technologies and tools offered in the marketplace
- Provide technical guidance and lead discussions with other Software Engineers
- Perform code and design reviews
- Be an active participant in the full development process.
- Work with cross functional teams in development.
- 3+ years working in a cloud environment, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Expert level knowledge of Java.
- Have experience with commercial software development cycle.
- Experience with docker; worked on containerizing applications.
- Strong experience with databases such as SQL ,NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash.
- Experience working with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt for automation and configuration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
- Experience in UI development (Angular) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
