DevOps Cloud Automation Engineer

Job Description My client is a top provider in the medical device industry in San Diego, California that continually works to improve the lives of people with diabetes by listening to the needs of their users, caregivers, and providers. This is a direct hire DevOps Engineer position who will be working with the R&D division. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years' experience working on designing, creating, and maintaining an automation framework designed for the cloud
• Ability to think of infrastructure as code and strong experience in creating and maintaining the infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with modern source control systems, Git preferred
• Strong scripting skills in bash, PowerShell, Python and Go for working on both Linux and Windows environments
• Comfortable working with cloud environments like Google Cloud , AWS, and Azure.(Google Cloud preferred)
• Strong understanding of pipeline orchestration technologies like Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo and Harness Scripting with Python, Bash, or Powershell

• Experience working in the medical device industry
• Experience working in an FDA controlled environment
• Experience with containers like Docker and container orchestration like Kubernetes
