Job Role: UAT Lead

Location:- Sunnyvale, CA Job Description:- Below We are seeking an experienced User Acceptance Test (UAT) Lead to manage and drive the User Acceptance Testing Phase of a project. Candidates will be responsible for managing cross-functional and cross-organizational User Acceptance Testing to test, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and drive the overall customer experience. The UAT Lead will have a deep understanding of the business process and drivers for change. Using process knowledge, the Business Requirement Document (BRD), and functional expertise, the UAT Lead will ensure quality checkpoints are established and is responsible for managing the user acceptance testing process to ensure the business receives capabilities that supports the business requirements according to the project scope outlined in the BRD along with any change requests. The candidate need to have exceptional UAT skills, a maniacal attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. The UAT Lead will have a deep understanding of the business process and drivers for change. The successful candidate provides attention to detail and focus on excellent customer experience as well as the ability to lead and drive large cross functional teams. He/She will be equally successful in communicating with program teams as well as executive teams. Key Qualifications: • Proven track record of leading strategic programs/projects combined with the ability to manage to deadlines and meet cost constraints • In-depth knowledge and experience in project and process management. Minimum of 5-7 years experience • Large Cross Functional project experience with experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of organization • Proficient with Excel Spreadsheet • Excellent leadership skills that enhance program/project team effectiveness • Ability to develop new strategies and options for new programs/projects • Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and systems a plus • Proficient at managing multiple efforts simultaneously in a global environment • Understanding of the business processes as needed by the program/project • Ability to perform robust business process analysis and recommend solution • Excellent organizational and documentation skills including Business Requirement Document (BRD) and business process flow diagramming • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles • Proven experience as a change agent having effectively implemented change in large cross functional organization • Sound technical foundation and attention to detail • Ability to work with ambiguity • Highly motivated self starter • Some travel may be required, both domestic and international • Deep understanding of quality assurance and testing practices within the software development life cycle (SDLC) Essential Duties and Responsibilities of UAT Lead: • Leverage industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology and process improvement on UATs • Build and maintain modular, end-to end and regression script libraries that can be leveraged across projects for testing scalability • Work closely with multiple teams to define and document test automation requirements and enhancements • Design and develop robust automation framework • Perform automation test activities according to current standards and policies • Monitor team testing activities and ensure they are completed as expected • Enhance automation test cases as needed due to testing issues encountered • Actively identify areas of automation and provide automation solutions to improve the process • Contribute to the quality strategy of the test automation products • Manage test automation suite and test environment • Participates in technical and functional design meetings to ensure requirements are clearly defined and testable • Ability to identify and write test scenarios, test cases and scripts as needed. This includes modular, End-to-End and Cross Functional Scripts, etc. • Ensures the existence of development and test environment standards • Responsible for the management and execution of detailed test plans to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements • Responsible for test project status reporting, defect tracking and risk/mitigation assessments • Develop and maintain key UAT documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success (ie UAT Test Scenarios and Scripts, UAT Planning, etc) • Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and lessons learned work • Provide innovative leadership in implementation of improved/standardized QA techniques • Prepare detailed schedules with target dates for deliverables, prioritizes and monitor activities • Measure and track testing results in test management tool • Act as a liaison between the business teams and technical teams to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions • Provide functional subject matter expertise.
