WHAT WE WANTFriendFinder Networks is looking for a talented Lead Front End Developer who will become a key member of a global agile team. The role is to design scalable and configurable front end frameworks using React, and to guide development teams to build secure and reliable high performance web sites that are seen and used by millions of people every day all over the world. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Evangelize innovative best practices, frameworks, and techniques to build highly interactive multi-media Web sites based on React
  • Collaborate with product management, UX designers, as well as front end development teams
  • Provide thought leadership and mentoring for agile cross-functional teams to enable rapid Web UI product delivery, both on mobile and desktop
  • Build reusable reference implementations of target designs, and train teams on their use
  • Be a part of the agile development process and deliver product feature implementations
  • Recommend processes, services, software and other tools to support business objectives pertinent to user interfaces as well as infrastructure technologies
  • Guide process and technology adoption to assure QA testing of User Interfaces application
  • Document all your work and communicate issues when they arise

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing social networking sites with streaming media
  • 7 years’ of front-end development experience
  • 5 years’ minimum experience with React framework
  • You must be comfortable with adult content
  • You must be at least 21 years old

WHAT IS PREFERABLE TO HAVE
  • Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS
  • Expert proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, XSLT/XML, jQuery
  • Familiar with the following: Kubernetes/microservices, Web services, RDBMS/SQL, SEO
  • Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, secure web standards and best practices

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Team-player, positive attitude, and flexible
