Microservices Consultant

Job Responsibilities:• Works with Technical Architect, PDM and Scrum Masters to create the High level and Detailed Design for the applications• Interact with tech architects to understand technology direction/changes, standards, and best practices• Resolve technical issues for designers and developers during project lifecycle• Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Java/J2EE technologies• Experience working with coordination of multiple teams• Designs, develops, and implements Microservices based applications to support business requirements.• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.• Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java, Spring Batch, Microservice Applications• Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.• Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the company's architecture standards.• Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk• Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution. Develops basic and detailed program specifications.Qualifications• 7+ years’ Java/J2EE application development experience• Good to have knowledge and understanding of Point-of-Sale Systems• Good to have experience with headless architecture systems built using ReST API or Microservices• W5+ years’ experience building scalable distributed systems based on Microservices architecture• 5+ years application development experience in Spring, Spring Boot technologies• Experienced on container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and packing Microservices to be deployed on containers• Extensive experience in a hands-on capacity with integration technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, XML/XSLT, REST, SOAP, Web Services and APIs, SSO, SAML, JSON, OAuth, GraphQL, and Swagger• Knowledge / Understanding of front end technologies like HTML, Javascripts, Angular JS is good to have• In-depth understanding of API architecture, API Gateways, cloud architecture etc.• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Linux OS.• Knowledge of security and encryption fundamentals (SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP)• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is mandatory• Ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences in both written and verbal form• Experience with Continuous Development/Deployment/Integration design, best practices, and tools• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills• Experience in front end development using technologies like Angular, NodeJS etc. is desirable• Experience working with testing tools like Protractor, Cucumber etc. is an added advantage
