UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator (ACI Technology Platform)

Responsibilities:

• Work with users provide reliable and stable working environment
• Support endusers with open source software install/setup: RStudio, Jupyter, Gitlab, etc.
• Perform User Access Management, Onboard new users
• Experience supporting day-to-day administration functions including user account management and script creation
• Troubleshoot Issues, Installation and testing of computer

• Macbook, iOS experience. Imaging, Troubleshooting, Supporting.
• Familiar with basic UNIX principles and commands, file manipulations and file editor
• Understanding of UNIX, LINUX, MAC, Windows Operating systems, file systems, storage environments, and networking protocols
• Knowledgeable in Windows, Unix, Linux, Unix or Linux shell scripting. Practical scripting skills in Shell, PERL, Batch, VB
• Basic Support skills, Basic Messaging and Collaboration concepts and tools, Active Directory, Server Virtualization
• Familiar and can identify or interpret crash dump files and core dump files and monitor System Logs
• Strong customer service skills
• Type: ContractLength: 6 month with the possibility of conversion to hireLocation: Oakland, Ca (onsite 3 days/week, may go to 5 eventually)
