Job Description

We're seeking a Global Sr. Director of Total Rewards, motivated by providing an inspiring employee experience in a high-growth mission-driven company!

This individual has significant impact, crafting, optimizing and delivering outstanding total rewards programs, including compensation, executive compensation, benefits and equity plan offerings. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience advising on Total Rewards topics and applying expertise to deliver new approaches to drive attraction and retention all while taking on sophisticated challenges. Operates as a trusted advisor to leadership, the People team, and our Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver programs that reflect Medable values, employee insights, aligns to business goals and objectives and market realities
  • Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs, including directing job evaluation and compensation surveys, salary structures, and developing salary budgets
  • Oversee the creation of policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of competitive employee compensation
  • Oversee the organization’s benefits programs, which includes negotiating coverage and costs with brokers and carriers
  • Responsible for incentive plan and equity plan design for the organization
  • Manage the administration, communication, and compliance of employee equity grant and/or purchase programs company-wide
  • Analyze and communicate the performance of equity plans and grant practices
  • Evaluate best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in compensation, benefits, and equity plan design and implementation
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, internal, and external reporting and requirements for equity plans and disclosures
  • In conjunction with internal partners, develop reporting and internal review processes and systems, employee communication and education programs, and grant recording and tracking mechanisms
  • Manage relationships with outsourced vendors and brokers.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience leading a total rewards team or a combination of education and experience in compensation and benefits
  • Experience with effectively scaling a rewards function to support the company's business goals and growth, with a strong awareness of best practices
  • Expertise in the development of strategy and administration of compensation and benefits
  • Exceptional communication skills that keep stakeholders informed and included in a way that builds trust
  • Team playerAbility to coach and mentor others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to influence others, including senior management
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • International experience (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • Excellent business and People Operations acumen, comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
