Staff Software Engineer - Tools and Automation Team - Opportunity for Working Remotely

VMware is looking for highly motivated and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering Operations team, driving the delivery of VMware’s flagship products. In this role you will have a profound impact on how developer’s get their job done byimproving and accelerating the product delivery through next-generation CI/CDautomation with a very large and diverse code baseIn this hands-on role you will be part of a top-tier engineering team andresponsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality solutions thatrealize significant savings and efficiencies with developer productivity.We are seeking engineers who Can help defining a vision and technical roadmap in close collaboration with key stakeholders. As well as love building robust, highly performant and scalable systems, with the authority and scope to apply their expertise in a technically driven environment.Basic Requirements10+ years experience in a software development role with strong programming skills.

3+ years architect-level experience working in SDDC/SaaS environments

3+ years experience in Typescript/Javascript/Python.

B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, M.S. preferred

Expertise in analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a lot of intellectual curiosity

Stay abreast of latest technologies, techniques, and best practices

Proven ability to handle multiple, complex technical projects and have the flexibility to work in a very dynamic environment.

Solid background with SQL and NoSQL DB

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong bias for action, and the ability to provide holistic solutions to complex Problems
