You’ll get to: Increase market share in a designated territory through Lenox band saw product testing, machine service, application demonstrations and training seminars.

Work in conjunction with salesperson to assist existing and new customers in meeting their own business objectives by selling Lenox band saw products.

Support customer service, distribution, and other departments in their efforts to respond to the business needs of customers and provide technical support to distributors and end users.

Solve end-user problems through troubleshooting minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment, as well as product performance and trial test to achieve optimum product performance.

Promote new products and product lines with distribution and end users.

Coordinate with Territory Account Manager(s) to effectively manage your territory, develop target opportunities and agree upon service/maintenance requests for existing customers.

Utilize SFDC to collect and maintain data about product, machines, materials, end users and distribution, both Lenox and competitive accounts.

Stay current; on machine control systems and learning and applying new product information and application, on industry trends by attending trade shows and seminars and on innovative technology and on competitor activities and products.

Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot distributor welding equipment.

Motivate distributors and keep distributor sales personnel focused on technical services as important value-added service when selling.

Identify end-user application to provide most cost-effective product recommendation that will improve customer’s quality of process as it pertains to their sawing operation.

Educate end-user personnel on the fundamentals of Sawing and how to effectively run a Guaranteed Trial Order (GTO).

Coordinate and implement technical product and application solutions that extend value to our customers, consumers, and sales representatives.

Learn, understand, and apply all aspects of The Lenox Advantage, Site Survey Process, and reporting tool. Convince customers of the value of LENOX products, running product trials against a competitor that may have a lower price and convincing customers of the benefits of analyzing price vs. cost.

Minimum 5+ years of Mechanical and/or Machinist experience in a shop environment.

Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in industrial sales with knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is strongly preferred.

Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.

Ability to be able to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organization.

Ability to multitask, and manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal with excellent presentation skills.

Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce, or other CRM is preferred.

Ability to travel up to 50% within territory and occasionally outside the territory for training, customer support, and/or for company-wide meetings.
