Skills: PKI Administration, Venafi, Microsoft CA, Microsoft ADCS, Security+, Net+, A+, CEH, CPTE, certificate managementWe are recruiting for a PKI Security Administrator to work in support of a government agency. All work will be performed on-site in Raleigh. This position requires a Public Trust in order to start work. Role and responsibilities include:
  • Work as part of a team supporting technical direction for all areas of PKI architecture
  • Support PKI policies, standards, strategies, automation and governance
  • Provide training and guidance to customer's key stakeholders on PKI lifecycle, processes, and procedures
  • Provide customer support for hundreds of applications and services that are using thousands of certificates
Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security clearance or eligibility to obtain Public Trust (required to start work)
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Administrator supporting Windows and Linux environments
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Professional certification in one or more of these disciplines: Security+, Net+, A+, CEH, CPTE
  • Experience and knowledge of industry standards for digital certificate management processes and practices
  • Full understanding of PKI including technology, standards, and implementations
  • Experience working with the Venafi trust protection platform
  • Experience with Microsoft CA certificate import processes
  • Experience working with the Venafi trust protection platform
  • Experience with Microsoft CA certificate import processes
  • Experience managing, configuring, or supporting a PKI certificate authority
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) preferred
  • Understanding of Cryptography
  • Understanding of Key Management
  • Hands-on experience with Certificate Authority Administration
  • Hands-on experience with Certificate Enrollment Web Service & Policy
  • Hands-on experience with Web Service Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) monitoring
  • Understanding of Cryptography Next Generation (CNG)
  • Experience working with TLS and SSL encryption protocols using one or more of the following technologies: F5, NetScaler, WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS, Apache
  • Expertise working with VMware and HyperV server virtualization technologies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor environment
