Our client is looking for a Cloud-web frontend developer in the north Houston area for a long term contract role, outside of the hustle & bustle, and paid parking of downtown. They will be responsible for creating Single Page Applications (SPAs) from requirements collaboratively established by developers, subject matter experts, and the product owner. Specifically, technologies in use:- Typescript- React w/React Router- Sass (SCSS)- Jest w/React Testing Library The consultant should have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with UI/UX designers and business users. While the developer is tasked with building SPAs, they will need to work with other developers to establish and follow standards, perform code reviews, and ensure overall code quality across the development group. Ability to listen to and translate what is needed from the business and discuss with peers. Years of experience is likely 4+ in web development. The individual is somewhere between a strong intermediate to senior in their overall skill level. Ability to learn quickly, but a solid understand of the fundamentals of web frontend design is critical to their success. Agile experience is a plus as they are starting to use Agile. This consultant will be doing all frontend work. The client is a .Net shop but the person in this role will not be working on any backend as each frontend developer will be paired with a backend developer on the team.
