The perfect candidate will perform technical testing to ensure the best quality for our consumers and collaborate on the strategic vision and path for email marketing to support the overall business. Responsibilities include leveraging AMPscript, Guide Template Language, Server-Side JavaScript, HTML/CSS, dynamic content, Journey Builder, customer data, and email best practices to develop a best-in-class customer experience.The successful candidate is an individual who strives to innovate continuously, drives for the best-in-class customer experience, utilizing the latest SFMC features, and is an overall team player. This individual will collaboratively work with and support internal & external partners, including marketing, IT, strategy, and agency partners.Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy personalized email marketing campaigns within email studio. Setup campaigns in Journey Builder and build out dynamic content blocks. Deploy email campaigns using Email Studio, Interactions, Automations, and Journey builder.
  • Develop Content Builder email templates and respective content blocks; requires strong HTML/CSS, AMPscript, Guide Template Language, Server-Side JavaScript
  • Build relational data models and corresponding data extensions
  • Build complex email automations
  • Create reports of email tracking data and deliver to internal clients
  • Respond to common business requirements and perform basic administrative functions within Marketing Cloud with support of the SFMC administrator
  • Ensure design and email layout is optimized, renders and functions correctly across multiple email clients, and is mobile friendlystrong attention to detail, QA, and visual aspects utilizing Litmus
  • Assist in designing and documenting solutions to leverage automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other sophisticated Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities to maximize customer engagement and response. Update training documentation for the internal design team
  • Assist with platform configuration, testing strategy, and automated email projects (trigger development, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret analytics/trends and make creative suggestions based on email best practices
  • Accurate QC/Proofing of emails before deployment
  • Collaborate with copywriters and visual designers to produce email creative that is on strategy, on target, in brand, and consistent with what is currently in the market
  • Stay knowledgeable of Reliant brand standards and creative best practices
Technical Skills:Required Expert Level:
  • HTM/CSS
  • AMPscript, Guide Template Language, Server-Side JavaScript
  • XML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
Experience/Knowledge:Required:
  • Salesforce/ExactTarget Marketing Cloud and Pardot or other Marketing Automation Platform
  • AMPscript, SQL, Server-Side JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint
  • Responsive email design and coding
  • 3+ years direct experience building solutions on the SFMC platform: Cloud Pages, Smart Forms, Web Collect, Collect Tracking, Email Studio, Social Studio, Journey Builder
  • 4+ years producing emails in an agency or in-house creative group
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of email marketing and systems, including template configuration and management, dynamic content, queries for data extensions, and content builder
  • Familiarity in Marketing Cloud Connector, data extensions, integration with external systems (API)
  • Online project-management software knowledge; familiarity with Workfront a plus
  • UX principles
