Technical Support Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is seeking a Technical Support Specialist.Main responsibilities include: The Technical Support Specialist will be assisting Customer Service Specialists with technical support during GPS device activation calls, and guide installers over the phone on how to install our products in vehicles and equipment. The Technical Support Specialist will also troubleshoot GPS devices that might be having issues after being checked by Customer Service or Fleet Specialists.Additional duties of the Technical Support Specialist: Authorize repairs for customers Work closely with the dispatcher to schedule service calls Able to be -on-call- when required for scheduled after-hours technical support Work on account projects assign by the Technical Support department Assist with special projects Provide support to installers with the installation of company products Provide training to new installers over the phone Assisting in any area of the company when needed Create wiring diagrams to assist installers during the installation of our productsREQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience in 12 volt electronics installation, (i.e. car audio & alarm installation) Able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays Exceptional Team Player with high regard for providing excellent customer service Innovative & solution-oriented thinker Punctual, responsible, accountable and attention to details are a MUST Great follow-up skills with a sense of urgency to resolve clients' requests Ability to function well in a fast-paced office environment CRM knowledge or ability to learn computer systems quickly Proficient in Microsoft Office & other computer applications Great written and oral communication skills Must have transportation Bilingual in SpanishKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
