Senior .NET Developer

We have a well-known Chicago client searching for a Senior Developer. You will be contributing to development of their new digital platform as well as maintenance of existing applications/processes. In this role, you will be working with both business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, perform technical analysis and design, and develop various components in an agile environment. You will also have opportunities to review/improve current processes in place following industry best practices. Ideal candidates are highly detail-oriented and adaptable, with strong analytical skills; bring minimum five years of experience in Information Technology as an Application Developer. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge in.NET development and SQL. Requirements:

• 4 years Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in applications development, with a solid understanding of web application development in .NET framework and experience writing SQL queries/stored procedures in a relational database.
• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript Web Frameworks.
• 3+ years with JavaScript, CSS 3 and HTML 5.
• Experience creating applications and services that run in public cloud offerings.
• Strong understanding of Microservice-based architecture and system integrations.
• Hands on experience in Agile environment and DevOps tools including continuous integration/deploy.
• Experience with .NET Core development a plus.
• Experience working with technical vendors and leveraging third-party APIs.
• Experience with green-field application development.
