Perform software development and programming to create new features and enhance functionality on a mission critical platform. Adapt and extend existing re-usable components and libraries. Develop high quality software while meeting deadlines. Assist with rollout and post production support. Present ideas for system improvements. Design or upgrade existing software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met.
Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Tradeweb Direct Wealth Management environment.
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the systems architecture
- This candidate is expected to work closely with the Business analysts, business partners and other technology partners to gather requirements and successfully build, test, and implement.
- Must have a bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5-10 years of experience
- Ability to convey ideas concisely in team environment
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in Scrum environment
- Experience working within the principles of the Agile Methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5 plus years of Object-Oriented design experience
- 5 plus years Java development experience with Java 8 or later with Spring MVC, Multi-Threading, Jasper reports
- 3 plus years of database software development experience (Oracle, SQL Server) and/or MPP databases like clickhouse, snowflake or redshift
- 5 plus years of web-based User Interface development (Javascript, Sencha/ExtJS, React, jQuery, JSON)
- 2-3 years of Spring Boot micro-services experience
- Experience in Fixed Income domain
