Position: Well Planning Application Support AnalystLocation: Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OKDuration: 9+ M6onths Background: Provides functional and technical application support for key Wells Planning applications and systems. Our applications collect data from various internal and external systems to enable Wells Planning groups to optimize their planning and scheduling workflow processes, as well as improve their Drilling & Completions capabilities.This role requires a working knowledge of programming practices to deliver and guide the demands of operational systems in all phases of requirements definition, system & project development, system enhancements, routine maintenance, and data management. Responsibilities may include:• Supporting Well Planning applications such as Generwell, DSO/Upstream, DSO/Server, Enersight• Providing necessary application support to deliver secure and reliable operations to the user community• Monitoring, analyzing, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving application and data issues• Supporting the interfaces for the data feed/load from various internal and external systems• Delivering enhancement requests to Well Planning applications and interfaces that will require programmatic coding• Translating business requirements to technical designs and deliverables• Working with vendors to deliver bug fixes, enhancement requests and support upgrades Basic/Required:• Legally authorized to work in the United States• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related technical discipline or foreign equivalent• 3+ years of application support experience• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint• Proficient in relational databases (Oracle/MSSQL)• Proficient with troubleshooting SQL• Advanced knowledge PL/SQL language for database programming• Basic knowledge of AICOE systems like Batch IR, Control M, and Informatica Power Center• Ability and willingness (with or without reasonable accommodations) to provide day-to-day and occasional after-hours support during system upgrade or project go-live Preferred:• Knowledge of Wells planning and scheduling workflow processes, etc.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong communication skills• Knowledge of data management concepts, data warehouse, Teradata• Understanding of Data Management concepts• Understanding of Oil & Gas operations• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities to ensure deliverables are met on time.• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments, results drivenThe hiring manager is looking for someone with Generwell and DSO knowledge. SQL/Oracle experience is critical.
