DutiesThis ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing SNOW CMS, SNOW Legal Service Delivery (LSD) module, on the ServiceNow platform.We are seeking a candidate who have a:
  • Strong sense of team; Collaborative approach; Deliverable focus; Customer Service mindset
  • Perform and/or participate in discovery and design work sessions to determine best practice solution requirements and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.
  • Refine and manage release management best practices for customizations and upgrades to the platform and applications
  • Assist business owners with leveraging ServiceNow with disciplined design and implementation approaches
  • Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed
  • Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services (i.e. CSM,LSD modules)
  • Assists ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort
  • Provides mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion

Skills
  • Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
  • Advanced System Administration
  • Experience with database design schemas and data modeling
  • Strong requirements gathering experience
  • Scripting
  • Candidate should be able to read and understand Object Oriented code on a high level.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the following ServiceNow knowledge/skills:
    • Performing GlideRecord Operations on a Table
    • Scripting in Business Rule using the current and/or previous object
    • Calling Script Includes
    • Able to make REST API Outbound Calls and SOAP Outbound Calls with basic Authentication
    • Understand WSDL and JSON
    • Hands-on experience with ImportSets and Transform Maps
    • Update Set creation/usage and change migration
    • Development/unit testing of Script Includes, Business Rules, Notifications and Notification Email Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, System Logs, UI Scripts, UI Pages, Security Roles/Groups and Reports
    • Strong debugging skills which take advantage of Background Scripts, Fix Scripts, ServiceNow JavaScript Debugger
    • MID servers usage, deployment and configuration
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, JQuery and web browser technology (XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.)

Nice to Have:
  • Angular, Microsoft .Net experience (C#)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Encryption Context, Scripted REST/SOAP API's, OAuth Authentication mechanisms
  • Familiarity with GIT

Other Desired Skills:
  • Experience building custom business applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Agile Software development practices
  • Experience dealing with technical end-users in a support role
  • Working knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure and Web Services
