Business Intelligence comprises the strategies and technologies used by enterprises for the data analysis of business information. The Business Intelligence Lead responsibilities include reviewing and verifying data, disseminating data to the Data Warehouse, and establishing policies and procedures for the collection and examination of data. They create new data acquisition and operating programs as well as collaborate with the IT department to implement software and hardware enhancements. Additionally, they observe analytics and metrics results, execute new data analysis programs, examine customer/data files to ensure cohesion of data collection and usage as well as present data profiling to determine and recognize anomalies.The Business Intelligence Lead solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers. The individual works on assignments involving moderately complex-to-complex issues where the analysis of data and processes requires an in-depth evaluation. The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for structuring the strategic design and maintenance of Business Intelligence applications. The role identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems and ensures that the use of Business Intelligence applications enhances business decision-making capabilities.Primary Responsibilities:Lead migration from legacy reporting platforms to modern solutions.Define Business Intelligence standards, guidelines and processes for data modeling and report design.Assign tasks to Business Intelligence team members, review work products to ensure quality and alignment with organizational standards. Coach and mentor less experienced Business Intelligence team members to foster growth.Lead Data Quality and Data Governance initiatives.Manage and execute various business operating reporting projects within organization.Design and develop the technical/functional specifications for data integration and reporting components.Maintain reporting systems, ensuring they are patched and upgraded as required and performance is within acceptable thresholds.Monitor reporting systems to ensure scheduled reports are delivered in a timely manner and ad-hoc reports are running optimally.CompuCom is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in all employment practices.
