We are currently seeking a Data Analytics/Business Intelligence Analyst for our client in the Healthcare and Social Assistance domain. Duration: Full-time Location: Tampa, FL Role: Data Analytics/Business Intelligence Analyst Primary Skills: Business Intelligence Role Description: The Data Analytics/Business Intelligence Analyst must have at least 5+ years of experience. The roles basic qualifications are as follows: - Driven, self-starter who conceives of and leads initiatives to improve the product. - Collaborate with software developers to add additional data analytic functionality into the application. - Research and characterize the relationship between hospital patient severity capture and quality score performance using severity reporting algorithms. - Skilled in regression analysis, data research/mining and statistical analysis. - Report, analyze, explore, and visualize data transforming it into digestible information. - Experience working with normalized database structures to construct optimized SQLs used by developers, and QA team. - Strong use of Microsoft Excel - Ability to communicate business cases, data anomalies and procedural exceptions to developers and team members. - 2+ years experience Utilizing Python to create models to analyze and detect correlations in large data sets. - Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies. - Ability to take ownership of a project and move it from scoping requirements to release. Bonus for additional experience in: - Programming languages C#, SQL - Web services - Healthcare claims - Cloud applications Note: No Visa restrictions, client can sponsor Relocation: Relocation assistance is available Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
