Job Description:Participates in design, development and Testing of architectural deliverables, to include components of the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirements. Contributes to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions. Develops prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and Testing processes. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. May lead multiple projects with competing deadlines. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Essential Functions: Provide innovative tactical solutions when necessary, to meet regional requirements Provide BAU application support to business partners and maintenance of production applications Work directly with business and technology partners to translate business requirements into effective, efficient technology deployments Coordinate regional deployments and testing Learn new products / tools / technologies to maintain the company?s competitive edge Required Skills: ? Proven design/development/Testing experience ? Skilled at solving Data Warehouse and data access problems ? Proven Experience with Python, Java and shell scripting ? Familiar developing within HADOOP platforms ? Deep understanding and experience using BI Tools ? ETL and ELT design experience with emphasis on performance, scalability and maintainability ? Agile and waterfall project methodology experience on BI / Data Warehousing projects ? Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous activities and priorities. ? Ability to lead and organize the work of other developers ?
