Job Summary/Company:A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join their team in Atlanta. You will be working with a highly motivated and skilled team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions for the financial industry in a supportive environment using modern methodologies and technology. Responsibilities:
  • Develop high quality software to meet requirements, promote re-use of software components, and facilitate ease of support
  • Practice Agile development and become familiar with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Lean principles, and the Scaled Agile Framework
  • Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability
  • Provide input and technical content for customer facing documentation, user help manuals, and customer training
  • Practice TDD/BDD, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test strategy for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Stay current with technology and form best practices

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software design and development
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Cloud experience is a MUST
  • Experience with Spring Frameworks, including Spring Boot
  • Experience with HTML 5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, Angular Framework, React
  • Experience with Database Management Systems (NoSQL preferred), JPA, Hibernate Test Driven
  • Experience with Development or Behaviour Driven Development (e.g. Junit, JBehave, Cucumber)
  • RESTful Web Services experience
