job summary:Our client in the FinTech space is looking to add a
Senior Cloud Engineer to their team in Chicago. This client is 100% remote for now but will start going back to the office once Covid restrictions are lifted.This person needs to be extensive professional experienced with AWS and Kubernetes. This person should also be experienced with Chef, Puppet or Ansible. location: Chicago, Illinoisjob type: Permanentsalary: $125,000 - 140,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:You can expect to:- partner with Development groups to build and deploy
- Responsible for application integration activities for monitoring tools using tools such as DataDog and SumoLogic
- Analyze software applications to identify vulnerabilities
- Design and maintain infrastructure automation tools
- Production experience with Docker/Kubernetes at scale
- Improve reliability and availability
- Ensure system security through industry best practices
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
- AWS (5 years of experience is required)
- Kubernetes (2 years of experience is required)
- Docker (1 year of experience is preferred)
