Job Description

The Account Director is responsible for developing, executing and partnering across all channels for one of our largest global accounts. In this role, you will partner closely with the Mobile team in Dallas, operating as our “on the ground” account support with mobile CRM clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM. They should also have experience launching campaigns and products in collaboration with cross-discipline teams. The Account Director will work closely with Clients to identify their specific needs, business objectives and help identify and implement products, processes and services that help achieve their goals and grow the relationship.

The Account Director is responsible for managing the client’s ongoing business and needs to comprehend both the day-to-day business, as well as be able to develop Testing, Targeting, and Analytics across the business for the client, in partnership with internal teams who deliver these services. The Account Director and the Client Partner work closely together to identify growth areas for the client(s) and deliver strategic recommendations on a frequent basis to help the client expand or uncover new opportunities across acquisition, cross-sell, retention, and win back areas.

The Account Director also must have a demonstrated ability to grow her/his direct reports and empower them with the ability to lead the day-to-day, allowing those team members to shine in front of the client while the Account Director focuses on strategic recommendations, but can step in on day-to-day topics as issues or opportunities arise.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing/advertising agency with additional experience in a specific discipline, such as CRM, digital, email B2B, B2C, promotions or loyalty
  • A combination of diverse skills (strategy, operational, data processing, data serving via digital ad platforms)
  • Proven client relationship development and management skills
  • Experience managing a team effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high-level client presentation skills; experienced public speaker
  • Expertise in marketing strategies, synthesis of database analysis, strategy development and creative development
  • Must be a natural leader who can collaboratively and effectively lead an agency team
  • Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
  • Ability to grasp and explain agency capabilities in a manner linked to clients' needs
