Job Title: Market Research & Insights ManagerLocation: The resource will be required to come into the office 3 days per week. He/she must be located within commuting distance from one of the following office locations: New York, NY, Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA, Stamford, CT or Pittsfield, MA.Duration: 3-6 months plus. There is the potential to extend the contract and also contract to hire. Position Summary:The Market Research & Insights Manager is principally responsible for leading qualitative and quantitative research projects and generating insights to help inform Client business strategy and decision-making across the enterprise.

  • Leads project-specific research analysis and identifies opportunities to leverage finishing to guide product, sales, enrollment, communications and marketing efforts
  • Advances the custom market research infrastructure within Client; designs, coordinates, executes, analyzes and reports on a wide variety of business needs
  • Manages custom research projects from start to finish, including the development of research plans (objectives, scope and execution) survey instruments, programs, dashboards and reports
  • Ensures all efforts support the market resarch agenda via clear, actionable results and recommendations; ensures projects meet business partner objectives and are delivered on time
  • Leads research projects as a subject-matter expert, partnering with senior business leaders to share research insights and recommendations, present findings, and support action-planning
You Are:As a Market Research & Insights Manager, you are knowledgeable about a variety of market research techniques, current on research best practices, able to be a self-starter and manage project execution across the quantitative and qualitative research steps. You thrive on partnering with colleagues, vendors, and leadership to design and execute market research projects and provide insights-first, story driving findings and recommendations. You are comfortable making decisions autonomously, but also are willing to reach out and thought partner with others at Client when needed. You thrive on working through data and analysis to be able to provide actionable insights that enable better strategic and tactical decision-making for our business partners.Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
  • Master Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
  • 8+ years of both custom quantitative and qualitative research experience,
  • Market research agency experience desired
Skills:
  • Strong people skills and a consultative and collaborative approach that will align well with Client core values
  • Strong market research technical skills that align with best practices across methodologies
Knowledge:
  • Must be experienced in Qualtrics (programming, data collection, and data tabulations, dashboard reporting and analysis), and statistical analysis
  • Must be experienced in executing end-to-end steps required for custom projects
  • Quantitative research experience includes survey development, programming, quota/sample mangaement, data tabulations, advanced analytics (i.e., driver's analysis, trade-off analysis, segmentations, etc), report writing custom insights and recommendations

  • Ensures all efforts support the market research agenda via clear, actionable results and recommendations; ensures projects meet business partner objectives and are delivered on time
  • Partners with senior business leaders to share research insights and recommendations, present findings and support action-planning
