US Tech Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer for a 12+ months contract position with a client in New York, NY Job Poster: Vanapalli Sai Karthik Description:• Demonstrated experience performing IT Security assessments on various applications and provide solutions to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security posture.•Strong analytical skills required to analyze requirements and relate requirements to the appropriate design and security controls.•Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of securityTechnologies including network security appliances, firewalls, identity and access management, anti-malware, automated policy compliance and desktop security tools.•Knowledge of server & network infrastructure hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, SAN and the associated protocols and concepts. Responsibilities:•Solid foundation in information technology, including the principles and practices of systems analysis, design, administration, project management and the functions of an Enterprise IT Department.•Extensive knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, PowerPoint & Visio•Ability to make decisions and provide solutions by inquiring, listening and evaluating policies and requirements.•Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.• Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT related field• Minimum 7-9 years of Cybersecurity experience in similar roles• Certifications including CISSP, CEH, CISA, NCSF are a plus.
