- Provide guidance on solution enhancements and performance improvements
- Understand data architecture for solutions and be able to quickly troubleshoot issues and offer resolutions.
- Work with engineering team on data-related issues and updates
- 3+ years of experience working with data and data analytics development within the Azure cloud platform
- Provide leadership and technical guidance for data platform and services
- Knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and processes
- Manage, troubleshoot, and extend architecture and implementation of data platforms including:
- ETL/ELT processes using Azure components
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure SQL
- Azure Data Lake
- Databricks
- AAS
- Logic Apps
- Data staging, ingestion, curation, and integrations to on premises sources leveraging SSIS or other technologies
- ETL/ELT processes using Azure components
- Expert level knowledge and assistance on BI tools such as
- Power BI including limited assistance on report development
- DAX
- AAS
- Expert level knowledge on SQL, data base administration and other data platforms and data related programming elements (e.g., python)
- Management and guidance for best practice data backup
- Ability to configure and manage any Azure component pertaining to ETL/ELT processes (ADF, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, AAS, Logic Apps)
- Tier 2 and Tier 3 response to data monitoring events/alerts and overall health of data platforms as part of the integrated managed service
- Response and guidance to inquiries on location and availability of data
- Knowledge of Azure PaaS and IaaS preferred; AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to use non-functional language when engaging with clients
